From a young age, I have marveled at the wonder of nature and been captivated by the beauty of our land. In all my work since, I have drawn inspiration from the natural world and love capturing the intricacies and imperfections which make nature so perfect.

Increasingly, I became aware of the growing threat to our environment from human activities, with contemporary Australian life often resulting in negative environmental impacts and a disconnect from nature. Holding a Bachelor of Design and a first-class Bachelor of Design (Honours) from the University of South Australia, I am now undertaking my PhD in the area of Environmental Education to propel my passion for the environment and botanical illustration into the field of academia and pedagogy.

I hope my work can encourage a sense of human connection to nature and appreciation of its beauty.
